Their preparations include traditional Pre-Columbian, Mesoamerican, Mayan and Aztec drinking chocolate elixirs; 1600’s European drinking chocolate elixirs, Colonial American and Colonial Mexican drinking chocolate elixirs. Kakawa Chocolate House drinking chocolate elixirs are representative of these historic recipes and span the time period 1000 BC to the mid-1900s AD.
New Mexico State Capitol hosts a collection of over 600 paintings, drawings and sculptures, all by New Mexican artists and all free to visit.
Nearby you will find many artisans and you can buy beautiful products such as turquoise jewelry, pottery, paintings. On one street, Canyon Road, there are over a hundred art galleries!

Day 2:
Architectural and Interior Private Walking Tour
Santa Fe has architecture unlike nearly any city in the United States—it’s dominated by adobe buildings but has diverse Victorian and Mission Revival styles. This tours offers a chance to learn about the architecture while taking a guided walk through the city’s back roads, residential areas, and art districts. Finish with a champagne tasting at Gruet Tasting Room at Hotel St. Francis.

The museum of Indian Arts and Culture to learn about the origin and history of various Native American peoples such as Pueblos, Navajos and Apaches.
The museum dedicated to the painter Georgia O’Keeffe has the largest collection of the artist’s works in the world. Seduced by the landscapes and the light of New Mexico, she is a a major figure of American art in the 20th century, is considered the “mother of American Modernism. 
You could also explore the Art Galleries such as The Center for Contemporary Arts, SITE Santa Fe, Evoke Contemporary, Turner Carroll Gallery, Zane Bennett Gallery or Charlotte Jackson Fine Art.

Day 3:
Full day private guided tour to High Road To Taos, Chimayo & Taos Pueblo with picnic
Travel the High Road to Taos.  This scenic drive through the Sangre de Cristo Mountains passes through villages and missions, some over 400 years old.   Along the way you’ll stop in Chimayo to visit El Santuario de Chimayo Shrine.  Next stop is in Taos at the Church at San Francisco de Asis Mission, a favorite subject for photographers and painters like Georgia O’Keeffe and Ansel Adams.  Once in Taos, you’ll tour Taos Pueblo with a pueblo resident. 

This is followed by a New Mexican picnic in the park. 
Slow Roast Dry Rubbed Chicken w/Prickly Pear Jelly, Limed Corn Chips & Fresh Salsa, Roasted Corn & Black Bean Salad, Fresh Seasonal Melon & Berries, Mixed Greens & Creamy Onion Vinaigrette, Something Chocolate for Dessert, Water & Soft Drinks.  (weather permitting, otherwise, it will be lunch in a restaurant)
After lunch you’ll visit the Millicent Rogers Museum, home to an amazing collection of southwestern art.  Then, it’s off to the Rio Grande Gorge Bridge and a breathtaking drive along the Rio Grande before heading back to Santa Fe.

For your last night, you must try the original green chile cheeseburger.  We recommend Shake Foundation.  All their beef is organic.
