The tour begins at your hotel. We will travel around this lovely historic city to give you an introduction to Newport. We will pop into as many of these architectural gems as possible:
The International Tennis Hall of Fame Redwood Library , Oldest Lending Library in the US Touro Synagogue, America’s Oldest Synagogue the Newport Guilded Age Mansions, playground of the wealthiest families at that time.
We will travel along the scenic 10 mile Ocean Drive and stop at a 19 century Lighthouse/ Castle Hill
As part of the tour I will be happy to reserve(required) the date and time to tour The Breakers or The Elms and drop you off for the 1 1/2 hr. tour. I will be there to pick you up after the tour.
If time allows we will drive to The « Point Section » of Newport which is the oldest and very special neighborhood in the city. This neighborhood has the largest concentration of lovely painted Colonial houses, first settled in the 17th century.
