Day 1: San Francisco for 3 nights

Day 2:

We will take you on a tour to the various neighborhoods, such as North Beach, Lombard Street, The Marina, Chinatown (pork buns, anyone?), Pacific Heights, Coit Tower, The Palace of Fine Arts, The Golden Gate Bridge and more suggested by your guide.
Suggested lunch at the Ferry Building Farmer’s Market
Stroll booth to booth sampling organic food, alongside several of the big name chefs of the Bay Area. People watch. It is always a party and always free. Held rain or shine every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, this is one of the most pleasurable ways to spend time in the city.

Day 3:
Full day private guided tour to Sausalito and Redwood State Natural Reserve
Discover the magical redwood forest ‘Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Reserve’, one of the most beautiful sights in the world with Coastal Redwoods that are taller (310 feet/95 meters), bigger (15 feet/4. 6 meters wide), and older (1400 years old) than the trees in Muir Woods.
We will then continue to the town of Guerneville where you will have time for a bite to eat.
Next stop is a short drive out to the beautiful Northern California coast where you can enjoy looking out at the ocean and see the amazing rock formations along the coast.
We stop in Bodega Bay for some coastal souvenirs. Next, we visit the town of Bodega made famous by Alfred Hitchcock’s movie « The Birds,” where we will stop for pictures at the schoolhouse used in the movie. Finally we will head to Sausalito. You will have the option of staying and spending some time in Sausalito and returning on your own via ferry. . .
Dinner reservation at The Cliff House
Fog permitting, the restaurant offers the best view on the Pacific coastline. Perched high on a cliff above Ocean Beach, it offers an expansive scope of the crashing Pacific Ocean, sunsets, and sea lions out front on the rocks.
Day 4: Yosemite for 3 nights
Drive to Yosemite
Drive to El Portal (4h), in the heart of the Sierra Nevada, a few kilometers from Yosemite Park.
Leaving behind the misty bay, scenic route 140 takes you through small towns like Merced – a fine collection of planes is on display at the Castle Air Museum.
Accommodation at The Ahwahnee
Built in 1927 and recently renovated, this year-round National Historic Landmark was designed with its famous landscape in mind—visitors will find views of Yosemite Falls, Half Dome and Glacier Point throughout.

Day 5
Days at leisure to explore the park and hike on own
This national park, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1984, reveals alpine landscapes, spectacular granite domes, grand cliffs, majestic lakes, rivers and waterfalls, giant sequoia forests and hundreds of bird species.
You could even spot a brown bear, the park’s emblem.
The Tioga Road scenic route crosses the park from west to east.
Day 6:

Day 7 : Monterey/Carmel for 2 nights
Road to Monterey (4h).
You leave behind pine forests and rock domes to reach the Pacific west coast. The scenic route 140, cradled by the Merced river, passes through small western towns like Mariposa. The agricultural towns are then linked up to Monterey Bay.

Kayaking in Monterey Bay
Between Santa Cruz and Monterey, the bay shelters a marine reserve inhabited by sea otters, seals, sea birds, fish and turtles. Visiting this reserve aboard a kayak allows you to approach marine mammals and other species living in the surrounding area, but also to discover superb panoramas of the port, the famous aquarium and the famous « Cannery row ».
Day 9: Santa Barbara for 2 nights
Continue on Pacific Highway towards the south to Santa Barbara
This is going to be a scenic drive along the panoramic Highway 1 (approximately 4 h).
Follow the ocean, enjoy sublime landscapes.
Buggy ride in the dunes of Pismo Beach.
