Day 1: Napa Valley for 4 nights
Pick up car in SFO airport
Drive to Napa valley, just 55 miles north of San Francisco.
From San Francisco, cross the Golden Gate Bridge and continue north on U.S. 101.
35-mile-long Napa Valley comprises a string of small towns surrounded by vineyards.
Things to see and do – Lunch or dinner at one of the region’s Michelin-starred tables – visit the home of writer Jack London at Glen Hellen, followed by a walk in the park that bears his name – a hike to Bald Mountain, north of Glen Hellen, for a superb view of the entire region – for amateurs, the visit of the Shulz Museum in Santa Rosa, the legendary creator of Snoopy, Charlie Brown and their band of Peanuts – treat yourself to a well-being break in Calistoga, the capital of spas and hot springs in the region.
Wine tasting and picnic lunch at Seghesio Family Vineyards for a taste of Italy
Established by Italian immigrants in 1895, Seghesio Family Vineyards produces fine, structured wines that honor the history of both the region and the family. With fruit sourced from over 300 acres throughout the Alexander, Dry Creek and Russian River Valleys, the winery offers a remarkable collection of zinfandels and Italian varietals.

Accommodation at Calistoga Ranch *****
Nestled on 157 acres in Napa Valley, Calistoga Ranch features an on-site pool and a restaurant that serves authentic regional dishes. An outdoor rain shower is featured in each guest room.

Day 2
Private Hot Air Balloon tour Napa Valley
Your morning will begin at the Vintner’s Golf Club in Yountville where you will be greeted with coffee, tea and an assortment of light bites. After a brief orientation, guests are driven to one of our launch sites where they are met by a bustle of activity, the hum of the inflation fans, lively colors and excitement as our hot air balloons gradually come to life.
From tree tops to magnificent panoramic views, enchantment, romance, and excitement fill every colorful moment of this graceful adventure.
After landing, we return you to Vintner’s Golf Club where you will join your pilot in celebrating your adventure with a sparkling wine toast!

Day 3:
Private driver at disposal to go for a very special cave wine tasting at Del Dotto
This historic property was one of Napa Valley’s first wineries dating back to 1885, and is where the barrel tasting experience was born. Dave and Yolanda Del Dotto restored the winery in the late ‘90s to age red wines in their caves. These cave-aged wines proved to be more voluptuous and opulent than those aged in modern facilities, and as such, the family continues to age wines in these historic caves to this day.

You won’t just be attending a Napa Valley cooking class, you’ll be attending a culinary experience. This hands-on adventure lasts 3 to 4 hours and is filled with fun, amazing food, and delicious wine. You will cook with seasonal produce harvested straight from their farm the day of your class.
Day 4:
Private driver at disposal for the day for cheese & wine tasting in Sonoma
Take a private Northern Sonoma wine tour. Visit some different wineries in the friendly Russian River, Dry Creek, and Alexander Valley wine regions of Sonoma.
Throughout the day your wine educator will entertain you and talk about the long history of winemaking in Sonoma, and teach you everything from wine tasting to wine production and grape farming.
Conveniently located next door to the funky, stop-worthy Jimtown Store, Hawkes offers a Vineyard Tasting, where three cabernets, a chardonnay and a merlot are all served with a cheese board, olive oil and accoutrements.
You’ll often get to tour the wine production area of a larger brand name and see how grapes turn into wine, and if you are here during harvest you may even get to stomp on some grapes!
After one winery tour, it’s on to wine tasting and exploring the back road wine country with visits to « boutique » small production family wineries, the true hidden gems of Sonoma County wine country!
Day 5 : Monterey for 3 nights
Road to Monterey (about 3h30).
Accommodation at Bernardus Lodge & Spa*****
This Carmel Valley resort boasts star-rated dining, a wellness spa and outdoor heated pool. A limestone fireplace, 2-person soaking tub and down feather bedding are featured in each guest room. Monterey Bay Aquarium is 19 km away.
Guests are welcomed with a gourmet snack basket, fruit bowl, fresh roses, and a complimentary « wine grotto » mini bar with Bernardus wines in their rooms. A flat-screen cable TV, iPod docking station and coffee machine are also provided.
Lucia Restaurant & Bar boasts an extensive wine list and a menu that focuses on organic, local ingredients. The bar and lounge area provides a more casual menu and experience.
The Spa at Bernardus offers marine-inspired massage services and body treatments in a spacious facility that includes locker rooms, sauna rooms, a fitness room and a juice bar. A warming room with fireplace, a meditation garden, a dipping pool and a reflecting pool are available for guest relaxation. A full-service beauty salon is also available.

Day 6
Kayaking in Monterey Bay
2.5 Hour Guided Tour of Elkhorn Slough
Visiting this reserve aboard a kayak allows you to approach marine mammals and other species living in the surrounding area, but also to discover superb panoramas.
Explore more of this peaceful tidal estuary with its stunning diversity of marine life. Paddle with sea otters, seals, sea lions, and a variety of shorebirds. No experience required.
Rest of the day at leisure to drive to Carmel-by-the-Sea.
Enjoy a scenic road trip along the Pacific Coast Highway, make a stop at Pebble Beach, and drive along the 17-Mile Drive.
Day 7
Small group wine tour at 1 pm with meat & cheese included
Our small group tour will have a maximum of 9 people.
Your guide will be with you every step of the way. Our guides are not only fun and interesting, they are experts on the local wine scene and will provide further insights into the wines you will be tasting.
Each tour is custom designed to the group to maximize your experience. Every tour is designed to provide an outstanding experience that is memorable and a highlight of your time in Monterey County.
Each tour includes transportation to the various locations, as well as wine tastings therein. It is all-inclusive. The tour will focus on smaller, boutique gems wineries. You will discover the vineyard and the production aspect. We also include a complimentary meat and cheese platter and bottled water, as well as bonus amenities like phone chargers and umbrellas (as needed). As time permits, your guide is also happy to show you around a few additional locations such as Carmel Beach or various restaurants.
