Rest of the day at leisure to explore Beacon Hill on own and discover the famous brick and stone houses, the Greek Revival and Gothic-style buildings, and its myriad shops and cafes lining Charles Street.

Visit the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum,model after a Venitian Palazzo, it host an impressive art collection and major works by Botticelli, Rubens, Delacroix or Matisse.

Day 2
Morning private guided tour of the Freedom Trail with driver guide
With your private guide, head to landmarks including the Boston Common, Massachusetts State House, Faneuil Hall, Quincy Market, and the Paul Revere House, among others. Then take the Charlestown Bridge to the USS Constitution and view the Bunker Hill Monument. You select which stops along the Freedom Trail you would like to see and create your own itinerary. 
Your guide will drop you off at the main level of Faneuil Hall Marketplace’s central building
Quincy Market, is a gigantic food court. You can eat at the marketplace.  If you prefer a lunch with a view over the marina, cross Atlantic Avenue  and seat next to Christopher Columbus Waterfront Park.  If you are looking for something indoor and a typical restaurant, head to Union Oyster House

 Rest of the afternoon at leisure to explore the waterfront.

 90 minutes Boston Harbor Cruises
See some of the top attractions in Boston from the waterfront on this narrated sightseeing cruise. Explore Boston Harbor and see the city’s historic sites while listening to live commentary on board. Pass landmarks like the Boston Tea Party ships, USS Constitution, and Boston Light—the oldest continuously manned lighthouse in the United States.
After the cruise, hop in taxi for a 20 to 30 minute cab ride and visit the Institute of Contemporary Art.

This South End restaurant gets its name from the fact that it stands on the site where Boston used to hang people in the 18th century.  This is a gastropub with excellent food and cocktails.  If you never had poutine, this the place where to try it.

Day 3
In the morning, head to the Museum of Science, with its wealth of hands-on exhibits, is a great destination for families
Take a taxi to Cambridge at noon and have lunch at the Border café where they serve delicious Tex-Mex specialties. 

2 hour private guided tour of Harvard

Pick up car in Boston

Day 5 :
3h 30 minutes Private Whale Watch Charter
Guided by the experience and knowledge of your captain, you will be taken to an area out of Provincetown, MA., off the waters of Cape Cod, that he has determined to be the most likely for seeing whales.
Since 1986, hunting has been prohibited and whales have stopped here for several months on their way to the Caribbean and South America. Off Cape Cod, you can come across dozens of whales – humpback whales, right whales … – in a single trip.

Have lunch in Provincetown, go for a clam chowder and a lobster roll.
Then explore this typical New England sea side resort.  The first settlers stayed only three months, as they thought that the land was too wild and difficult to cultivate.  It then expanded in the 19th century with the whaling industry.

You could bike on the Cape Cod Rail Trail, an old railway line that has been converted into a bike path
Visit Cape Cod natural history museum
Visit Cape Code crisps factory in Hyannis, yum!
Do some bird watching:  blue herons, peregrine falcons and bald eagles
Try the famous sea salt caramels, Salt water taffy
Spot the rich and famous in Hyannis, where the Kennedys had their second home

Day 6:
Spend the day in Nantucket
Take the ferry and cross to Nantucket, « the distant island » as the  Amerindian named it.  The island is still wild and preserved and that therefore gives the impression of being uninhabited.
However, there are tiny village, made of small houses and splendid and vast mansions with gray cedar slats.  This is the heritage of the wealth of whaling captains.  They have now been turned into lavish by the sea houses for rich Bostonian bourgeoisie.
On the windswept beaches, the ocean offers a priceless gift to bathers: seals – you swim among them.
