Foliage

Our Favorite Experiences

Vermont

First two weeks of October is usually the best time.  Drive through mountains and woods along remote dirt roads, cross covered wooden bridges,  walk on trails and be dazzled by the incredible blazing orange and red maple trees colors.

Colorado

Mountains across the state turned into incredible landscapes of golden bronze and dazzling yellow.  Aspen is the best spot to experience the foliage.  Go to Maroon Bells to view the spectacular autumn scenery with rocky peaks reflecting into the water.

Urban foliage in Vancouver

Vancouver’s most famous park offers an incredible view of nearby mountains, forests and surrounding water. Vibrant yellows, oranges and reds are omnipresent as you explore the vast space.

Glacier National Park, Montana

Usually it starts by the end of September early October.  You will pretty much have the entire park to yourself. This is one of the best places to see larch trees turn bright gold before losing their needles. Yellow larch fused with evergreens set against the backdrop of the massive snow-covered peaks of the Continental Divide make for maybe the most dramatic autumn scene in the U.S.
